Francesco Adiliberti, PhD Founder & CEO Francesco is a co-founder and CEO of Composite Labs and a Board Member of Keyrock SA, a crypto market maker. He also founded and runs Catena Capital LLC, a company advising other firms on matters related to DLT, blockchain, cryptocurrencies in the regulated and non-regulated space including a crypto custodian (Etana) looking to acquire the license to operate in the EU, a crypto trading venue under ESMA applying for the license at BaFin, a European banking group (Banking Circle), and a DeFi Lending & Borrowing venue (Obligate.com). He ran Nomisma as CEO, from January 2021 to December 2022. The firm operated a multilateral trading facility for crypto derivatives (and was sold to Amber Group) in 2021. Before crypto, Francesco held the position of Managing Director, while working at Goldman Sachs for 12 years as well as a Managing Director at HSBC between 2013 and 2016. He holds a PhD with a quantitatve dissertation on financial derivatives, and MA from the University of Zurich.
